Why length and height change the job

A short wall vent behind a first-floor laundry room can often be brushed in a straightforward visit. A duct that climbs two stories, turns through an unfinished attic chase, then exits a roof cap needs more brush length, more time, and a careful check that every section actually flows. Manufacturer guidance generally prefers short, straight metal runs; many Erie and Millcreek homes weren’t built that way.
